Adding wellness features is becoming an increasingly popular way for properties to stand out, attract guests, and enhance the accommodation experience for customers. Our fully portable spa pools, saunas and cold plunge pools are simple yet powerful additions that create a unique point of difference for your holiday home offerings. We take care of all the installation and pack out and have thorough instructions and guidelines in place for guests to follow.

Whether you’re considering a short-term hire, an event activation, or exploring regular wellness offerings for your property or business, you may have a few practical questions about how it all works. Below are some of the most common questions we have received from property owners and managers, along with comprehensive answers.



  • How much space is needed for a spa pool, sauna or cold plunge pool setup?

Spa pools - 2 metres x 2 metres

Cold plunge pools - 1 metres x 1.5 metres

Saunas - 1.2 metres x 1.2 metres


  • What are the power requirements for a spa pool, sauna or cold plunge pool?

All our spa pools, saunas and cold plunge pools simply require one working plug socket each. We have extension cables for extra flexibility and protection boxes for any outside connection points.


  • How does delivery and setup/ packup work for a spa pool, sauna or cold plunge pool?

We take care of the installation and packup process for all our hire prodcuts at no additional cost. We treat every property respectfully and with discretion.


  • How long does installation and setup take?

Spa pools - 1.5 - 2 hrs.

Cold plunge pools - 1 - 1.5 hrs.

Saunas - 1 - 1.5 hrs.


  • Do guests or residents need any special instructions to use the equipment safely?

Yes, but we have detailed instructions ready. Our online tutorials page provides information on each of our products. Information includes guidelines for use, operation instructions, troubleshooting tips, and safety considerations.


  • Who is responsible for cleaning and maintenance during the hire period?

Spa pools & cold plunge pools - Guests are provided with chlorine/ bromine and instructions for use. A water change is recommended every 7 days and this can be pre-booked online at the time of hiring or added on at a later time.

Saunas - Guests are provided with towels which must be used in the sauna at all times. This is outlined in the instructions. Guests are also informed not to clean or treat the wood.


  • Can the setup be installed on decks, balconies, patios, or lawns?

Spa pools - Any flat surface lawn and patio is suitable for our spa pools. Balconies and decks must be able to withstand 1000kg

Cold plunge pools - Any flat surface lawn and patio is suitable for our cold plunge pools. Balconies and decks must be able to withstand 500kg

Saunas - The saunas can be setup anywhere indoors or in an outside area that's fully covered with good protection.


  • Is there a minimum hire period?

Yes, all products have a 2 night minimum hire period.


  • Are there any health and safety considerations property managers should be aware of?

Our cold plunge pools and spa pools come with covers that include a child-proof safety lock feature. All health & safety concerns for each product are outlined on our online tutorials page.


  • Can the sauna, spa pools and cold plunge pools be hired together as a package?

Yes. You can hire multiple products at a time. All availability and pricing is available on our online hire shop.


  • How far in advance should we book?

The sooner the better! We have multiple items of each product which means availability is usually very good. However, we are also the only hire company of this kind supplying to Queenstown, Wanaka, Kingston, Glenorchy, Arrowtown, Gibbston Valley, and Cromwell. School holiday periods, public holidays and weekends are incredibly busy. It's best to secure your spa pool cold plunge pool or sauna hire as soon as possible.


  • What is your cancellation policy?

    • 15 days or more notice before installation: Full refund (less any money transfer costs).

    • 8–14 days before installation: $50 administration fee retained, with the remaining balance refunded (less any money transfer costs).

    • 7–2 days before installation: 50% refund (less any money transfer costs).

    • Within 48 hours of the installation date: Unfortunately, no refund is available.
