Queenstown Sauna Hire
What kind of saunas do you hire?
Why should I choose an infrared sauna?
All our saunas are infrared. This is an easily portable and effective sauna option without an overly intense heat. Infrared light directly penetrares the body targeting muscles and joints for improved recovery and relief. And as our saunas operate at lower temperatures than traditional saunas you can enjoy longer and more relaxing sauna sessions.
How long should I stay in the sauna?
We recommend up to 3 rounds of up to 15 minutes. If you're new to the sauna experience, begin with less intense temperatures and shorter sessions. From there you can increase the temperature and your time in the sauna. We also recommend pairing the sauna with a dip in the cold plunge pool in between each round.
How hot is the sauna?
You can set the temperature of the sauna up to 60 degrees using the control panel. To maintain the temperature inside the sauna you should avoid opening the door, especially for any long period.

Queenstown Cold Plunge Pool Hire
How long should I stay in the cold plunge pool?
The recommended length of time to spend in your cold plunge pool depends on the temperature of the pool and your personal experience with cold water. If cold plunging is new to you, we recommend reading our Breathing better in the cold plunge blog post before entering the pool for the first time. When you're ready for your first dip into the cold water, aim to immerse yourself in the pool for two minutes and time yourself. After exiting the pool, take a minute to reflect on the experience and assess how you feel mentally and physically. We recommend pairing the cold plunge pool hire with a warm and cosy sauna so you can alternate between the ice and hot experience. Each time you re-enter the cold plunge, see if you can withstand the cold a little longer, whilst still remaining calm and in control of your breathing.
How cold is the cold plunge pool?
You can set the temperature of the cold plunge using the controler. between 3 to 20 degrees.
Queenstown Sauna & Cold Plunge Hire
Should I use the sauna or cold plunge first?
Is it safe to go between hot and cold multiple times?
How many rounds of hot and cold should I do?
We recommend you take a cold shower first and then begin with your sauna session, followed by the cold plunge pool. Three sauna rounds of up to fifteen minutes with three cold plunge pool dips of up to five minutes in between is a great rule of thumb for heat and cold therapy. It's perfectly safe for most people to experience sauna and cold plunge pools. Beginners should opt for less intensely hot and cold temperatures to begin with and then make adjustments over time if desired. We recommend three rounds of the hot and cold sessions for maximum recovery and relaxation.
What should I wear in the sauna or cold plunge pool?
Towels must be placed on the sauna seats and floor before every use. This is for hygeiene reasons and also to protect the wood. Choose clothing that you are comfortable wearing and happy to get sweaty and get wet.
Can I use the sauna or cold plunge after exercise?
If you're using the sauna, spa pool or cold plunge pools after exercise we recommend waiting for your heart rate to return to normal and take a comfortable shower before beginning your recovery routine.

Queenstown Spa Hire
How hot is the spa pool?
The spa pool temperature immediately after setup will be 40 degrees centigrade. To maintain the temperature of the water in the spa pool you should place the inflatable cover and securely lock the lid on top whenever the pool is not in use. Maintaining the water level is also important as the heating system will fail if the water level drops too much. With this in mind, it's best to limit splashing to avoid water loss from the pool.
